Heroes of the Blue Sky Rebellion is for boys and young men 13 to 23 to assure you that you are not imagining things and do not have a “personal problem” when you perceive sexism, gender bias, double standards and stereotypes operating against your efforts to reach maximum health, achievement and happiness.
Since adults haven’t really done much to help you — especially compared to what they’ve done for girls and young women to make sure they get what they want out of life — this book encourages you to become your own advocate and activist to address the injustices you face as a male, and to enlist reluctant adults and very cool young women and girls as Allies in a campaign to make sure you, too, can claim all the happiness in the world.
